Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Mohan Yadav is on a two-day trip to Delhi where he met BJP’s national president JP Nadda on Friday night.

He also interacted with BJP’s organisational general secretary BL Santhosh at the party’s central office on Saturday morning.

After Yadav’s meeting with the central leaders, politics over party’s state unit president has heated up.

It is almost certain that the election to the post of the state unit president will be held next week. The date for the election will be announced in a day or two.

Yadav’s meeting with Nadda and Santosh indicates that they discussed the election of the party’s state unit president.

Yadav is supporting the candidature of legislator Hemant Khandelwal. There are reports that the party is mulling over electing a tribal leader.

Among the tribal leaders, the name of Rajya Sabha MP Sumer Singh Solanki is doing the rounds.

According to sources, the name for the party’s state president has been decided during Yadav’s meeting with two leaders. The veil over the name of the candidate will soon be lifted.

Simhastha preparation presented before Nadda, to be shown to Shah on April 13

Chief Secretary Anurag Jain has made a presentation about the preparations for Simhastha before JP Nadda in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Nadda was informed about the number of works being done for Simhastha. He was also informed about how preparations are being made. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is visiting Neemuch on April 13 when a presentation for preparations for Simhastha would be made before him.

Preparation for Vikramaditya Mahanatya underway

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav informed media persons in Delhi about the preparation for Vikramaditya Mahanatya being held from April 12 to 14. The three-day event will be held in the Red Fort.

According to sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda may join the event.
