Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Conflict between the politicians and the bureaucrats is deepening with each passing day. A large number of ministers are barely on good terms with the officers.

There are reports that the relationship between the MPs and the MLAs has also gone sour. Bhopal MP Alok Sharma has opened a front against Nagar Nigam commissioner Harendra Narayan.

Sharma has also complained to the Centre about the officer. Minister for cooperatives Vishvas Sarang is also not happy with the BMC commissioner. Sarang recently pulled him up over phone.

Minister for School Education Department Uday Pratap Singh recently wrote a note to the higher-ups recommending suspension of director of the Directorate of Public Instructions KK Dwivedi. But secretary to the department Sanjay Goyal saved him.

The relationship between Minister for SC/ST Welfare Department Nagar Singh Chouhan, Principal Secretary E Ramesh, and commissioner of the department Dhananjay Singh Bhadoria has soured.

Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and commissioner of the department Abhijeet Agarwal had a dispute over the list of transfer of officials.

Similarly, there is a discord between Minister of the Renewable Energy Department Rakesh Shukla and Additional Chief Secretary Manu Shrivastava.

Shukla’s complaint is that he is hardly informed anything about the goings-on in the department.

In the same way, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Department Govind Singh Rajput is not on good terms with the officials of the department.

According to sources, several ministers have told Chief Secretary Anurag Jain to transfer officers from their respective departments.

The situation is no different in many districts from where reports about the disputes between the BJP leaders and the officials are coming.

The legislators and officers are in conflict with each other in Sagar, Mauganj and Katni districts.
