Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has launched the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan to interact directly with the public to know their problems.

The Abhiyan takes place every Friday, and it has been continuing for three weeks. Yadav visits a district every week as part of the Abhiyan, but the ministers have maintained a distance from it.

Yadav stayed in the Tikangarh district as part of the event on Friday. Earlier, he visited Chhindwara and Barwani districts.

Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda and ministers Rao Uday Pratap Singh, Aidal Singh Kansana, Inder Singh Parmar, Lakhan Patel, Rakesh Shukla, Nirmala Bhuria, Rakesh Singh, and Vishvas Sarang kept away from the Abhiyan.

Both Singh and Sarang remained in Delhi. Since floods affected the Rewa district where Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla comes from, he could not take part in the programme. He stayed in his constituency.

A few ministers organised some programmes in their constituencies in the name of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

For the ministers, like Govind Singh Rajput, Tulsi Silawat, Karan Singh Verma, Sampatiya Uike, Gautam Tetwal, Narayan Singh Pawar, and others, Jan Vishwas Abhiyan proved a mere formality.

The government issued a circular about how to organise the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan. At cabinet meetings on July 28 and August 4, Yadav clearly told his ministerial colleagues that everyone must join the campaign.

Yadav also explained to them what kind of activities they should participate in during the programme. But a large number of ministers showed little interest in the event.

No minister organised event according to govt directions

None of the ministers followed the government's instructions for organising events as part of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

Its most important aspect is that the ministers should interact directly with the public to see whether they get the benefits of the CM Helpline, public hearings, and the Public Service Guarantee Act.

Inspecting roads, ponds, the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission, schools, colleges, Anganwadi centres, hospitals, fertilisers and seed centres, Krishi Upaj Mandis, police stations, Tehsils, ITIs, petrol pumps, and medical colleges is part of the Jan Vishwas Abhiyan.

The ministers must also review the law and order situation as part of the campaign. But none of the ministers followed the instructions.

CM suspends District Registrar Cooperative during Jan Vishwas Campaign in Tikamgarh

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav suspended district registrar cooperative S K Kaushik while hearing the public complaints during the Jan Vishwas Campaign in Tikamgarh on Friday.

Dayaram Lodhi had complained that after the death of her mother Rani Bai, Cooperative Bank’s Mawai branch had not transferred the money into the account of the nominee.

CM took this complaint seriously and directed suspension of district registrar cooperative.

He also heard the complaints of other citizens and solved them. He instructed that public complaints should be solved at local level and that also in effective manner.

Moreover, officers should move in field and inspect the implementation of the schemes.
