Bhopal: Webinar on 'Regenerative Tourism' on June 5

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is going to organise a webinar on 'Regenerative Tourism' on June 5 at 12:30 pm.

The event is being organised to mark on World Environment Day to make people aware of the new concept ëRegenerative Tourismí under the theme of UN this year ëEcosystem Restorationí.

The subject experts from tourism and environment field Harold Goodwin, Responsible Tourism advisor, WTM, Pandurang Taware, Managing Director, Agri Tourism Development Company, Steve Borgia, Chairman and MD, INDeco Leisure Hotels, Aly Rashid, Director and CEO, Jehan Numa Wilderness, Suyash Keshari, Wildlife presenter, Filmmaker and Conservationist, Vinita Rashinkar, Bestselling author & Tourism specialist are invited as featured speakers to discuss and provide their valuable suggestions and inputs to promote tourism by adopting Regenerative Tourism.

Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, tourism, culture, archeology and public relations said the purpose of organising this webinar is to create an awareness regarding the Regenerative Tourism and the tourism destinations in the state can be promoted with responsible practices by all the stakeholders to make it sustainable for future generation also.
