Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Security has been beefed up in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to state capital on Monday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address BJP Karyakarta Mahakumbh at Jamboree ground here at Jamboree ground.
Speaking to media persons on Sunday morning, state home minister Dr Narottam Mishra said modern equipment would be used for security. About 25 IPS officers have been deployed for the purpose. Meanwhile, DGP Sudhir Saxena himself visited the Jamboree ground and took stock of the security arrangements. Police commissioner Harinarayanachari Mishra said 4,000 police personnel would ensure safety arrangements and maintain law and order.

The city is all ready to welcome PM. Posters and hoardings of PM Modi, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP State chief VD Sharma dotted the city skyline. Banners, welcome hoardings, decorate the main squares of the city and roads through which PM Modi's convoy will pass through on Monday.
CM takes stock of preparations:
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accompanied by some of his cabinet colleagues took stock of various arrangements at Jamboree ground on Sunday. The Chief Minister also inspected the helipad at Jamboree ground. He looked into the security, sitting, drinking water arrangements made at the venue. The traffic police officials also informed him about the traffic plan and diversions made in wake of the PM’s visit.
Later, interacting with media persons, Chouhan said that all the preparations have been completed and Bhopal is ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The chief minister was accompanied by BJP State President VD Sharma, minister for medical education Vishvas Sarang, Commissioner Dr Pawan Sharma and others.Meanwhile, later in the evening, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar, BJP State President VD Sharma, State Election co in charge and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw etc inaugurated an exhibition at the venue.
