Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Sanskriti Bachao Manch has lodged complaint against filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala for his upcoming film, Satyanarayan Ki Katha.
Though, Sajid Nadiadwala, in a statement issued during announcement of his new project a week back, had termed it as “visionary”, Sanskriti Bachao Manch accused Nadiadawala of hurting sentiments of Hindu religion.
“I along with other members of Sanskriti Bachao Manch have lodged complaints at different police stations in city and demanded FIRs to be registered against Naiadawala,” Manch president Chandra Shekhar Tiwari said.
He further added that Bollywood had been distorting image of Hindu religion by targeting deities. “If you see Bollywood movies, you will find that they have deliberately been targeting our religion,” he said.
He threatened that Sanskriti Bachao Manch will not allow the movie to be released in Madhya Pradesh. “If Nadiadwala visits Madhya Pradesh, we will protest against him” he said, adding that Manch will also lodge a complaint at the state home minister’s office and send a letter to the Information and Broadcast ministry.
