Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Rations will be distributed among the poor in bags containing 10 kg of items. The state government is going to take this measure following a central government directive.

There are a few instructions from the Centre about the bags for which the designs have come from Delhi. Photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be printed on the bags. A message of the Prime Minister will be printed on the other side of the bags.

The team that deals with the publicity of the Prime Minister has decided to centralise the publicity material in BJP-ruled states, which will use the design of the bags coming from Delhi for publicity.

On some earlier occasions, the state government used to design the publicity material for welfare projects associated with the Centre. The team of Modi has objected to it. The design for the publicity material meant to promote Modi will be made in Delhi.

The same thing is being done in connection with the vaccination drive. All the BJP-ruled states are getting vaccine-related publicity material from Delhi. The design for the hoardings and advertisements will be the same in the BJP-ruled states. The design for vaccinations is focusing on giving free jabs. The hoardings and advertisements for vaccination are being put up in Karnataka, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
