Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Sunday that Rahul Gandhi had launched a misinformation campaign about the vaccination drive.

"It was shameful that Rahul had done such a thing as lying to people about vaccination," Chouhan said.

The prime minister had arranged for free vaccination and was convincing people to get jabbed, but Rahul was trying to create confusion by lying to the people, putting their lives in danger, Chouhan said. The prime minister had convinced the people of Dolaria village in Betul and, after that, they had got inoculated, he added.

Chouhan also criticised former chief minister Digvijaya Singh for calling the prime minister a ‘satyanashi’ or a ‘vandal’. Only a person like ‘Mr Banthadhar’ (spoiler) can call a person who always works for the people a ‘vandal’. Chouhan further said that the less said about Digvijaya Singh, the better.
