BHOPAL: Many patients are down with post-corona complications. Besides the number of mucormycosis patients that of the ones suffering from kidney and liver infection is very high. The mucormycosis patients are also down with kidney infection. The patients with fungal infection in lungs are also increasing.

Cases of post-corona complications are also being reported from rural areas. Among them, there are many patients who are suffering from fever, but such patients did not undergo testing. Now, they are down with many ailments.

Many patients are also down with complications related to urology. The post-corona complications damaged the kidneys of many people.

According to urologist Dr Puneet Tiwari, many types of cases are being received daily and most of them are suffering from kidney and urine-related problems. There are some patients who have to undergo dialysis, Dr Tiwri says.

ENT specialist Dr SP Dubey says that the cases of mucormycosis have declined, but a few patients are still coming from villages. There are some patients whose complications have increased, Dr Dubey says. According to Dr Dubey, there are five types of fungal infection that cause different complications leading to major problems.
