Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Border Security Forces (BSF) has so far planted 2,100 saplings in its premises here. They planted saplings on Saturday too, which was World Environment Day.
The mass plantation drive for year 2021-22 was launched in its Bijasan campus under leadership of Ashok Kumar Yadav, Inspector General, Subsidiary Training Centre, BSF, Indore.
In his address to BSF personnel, Yadav said the government has approved for a mass plantation drive. “It is our duty to ensure well-being of our country in every possible way including greenery. Plantation and maintenance of trees are essential for health and prosperity of city and country,” he added.
“We pray that this plantation drive helps in city’s development and makes people healthy,” Yadav said.
