Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A fake letter went viral on social media claiming revised exam dates for the recruitment of ministerial staff of the ranks of subedar and assistant sub inspector.
The Police Headquarters clarified on Wednesday that the examination will be conducted as per the schedule declared by the Employment Selection Board.
The Employment Selection Board is conducting the recruitment examination to fill 500 posts of ministerial staff including Subedar and assistant sub inspector.
The first phase of the examination has been completed and the dates for the second phase will be announced shortly.
The viral letter falsely claimed to be issued by the police department and stated that the second phase of the examination would be held from April 15 to 17, 2026. Authorities confirmed that the letter is fake.
The Police Headquarters stated that the examination schedule will be decided and announced only by the Employment Selection Board.
Any changes in the examination will be notified on the official police website managed by the State Crime Records Bureau and Employment Selection Board website.
