Bhopal News: Sudden Rains Drench City, Brings Respite For Residents; Check Pics

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A sudden spell of heavy rains surprised Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal on Wednesday afternoon. The showers with thunder brought respite from hot sun and rising temperatures, making the residents relieved.

The rains drenched several parts of the city including Link Road No. 2. The downpour began in the early afternoon, accompanied by gusty winds, making the commuters and residents enjoy the pleasant weather.

Meanwhile, Sehore witnessed a more severe weather with strong winds, heavy rain and hailstorms.

Rain and hail alert for next few days

The weather department has issued a hail alert for the next few hours in districts like Jabalpur, Seoni, and Mandla, along with several others. There is also a possibility of lightning, light storms, and hail in areas including Indore and nearby districts.

The weather had already started changing from Tuesday night in many parts of the state. Hail was reported in parts of Dhar district earlier. Authorities are on alert, and farmers are worried about possible damage to crops.
