Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner Sanskriti Jain on Wednesday assigned a six-month work roadmap to officials, asking them to present detailed plans at a review meeting.
According to BMC officials, the commissioner instructed officers to write their department-wise plans on paper during the meeting.
The session, which began at 4 pm and continued till 8.20 pm, saw officials taking 30 to 50 minutes to outline their strategies.
The commissioner reviewed each submission closely, questioning the planning methods like an examiner assessing answer sheets.
Officials said the focus of the meeting remained on structured planning and accountability throughout the three-hour discussion. Jain also hinted at possible changes in departmental responsibilities.
BMC sources indicated dissatisfaction with the performance of some revenue officials, while complaints have also been raised regarding the functioning of the mechanical department's deputy city engineer.
