Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bharat Bhavan is going to celebrate its 44th foundation day on Friday. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate a ten-day event to mark the day. Based on the theme "Gratitude and Celebration," the festival will be dedicated to the multifaceted traditions of Indian art and culture.
The main attraction of the function will be the flute recital by Padma Vibhushan recipient Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and his disciples in the Hari Pranam series.
The opening ceremony will begin with the Rai dance performance by Santosh Kumar Pandey and his fellow artists in tribute to Pandit Ram Sahay Panday in the Smriti series.
An exhibition of works by 44 women artists under the Abhaya series will be inaugurated. An exhibition of paintings by Rita Bhuria and Manisha Baria in the Pratyaya series will introduce art lovers to contemporary creations. Students of Madhya Pradesh Natya Vidyalaya will perform Rang Sangeet .
