Bhopal: After docs, staffers seek audit from govt agency in JNCHRC’s alleged financial irregularities

After doctors, now employees' union has demanded audit from government agency in financial irregularities in Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (JNCHRC) on Saturday.

The employees union, in letter to JNCHRC Chairperson, has raised the issue like financial irregularities and said that it makes dent in reputation of the institute. The union has demanded immediate intervention for bringing transparency in working of the Hospital.

The letter has also been sent to divisional commissioner, Bhopal collector, registrar firm and society, Bhopal, Dean Gandhi Medical college, Principal Secretary health. Divisional commissioner and GMC dean are government

nominee in the managing committee of the trust.

Earlier, doctors on June 27, had written similar memorandum to Chairperson demanding ouster of Chief Executive officer(CEO) Divya Joshi from institute. Doctors had blamed CEO responsible for chaos in JNCHRC.

Reacting to the complaints of the staffers into alleged anomalies in the hospital, Chief Executive Officer Divya Joshi in a written reply to the FPJ said, "Investigation is already going on, everyone should wait till the result of report comes."
