Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 10-year-old boy died of snake bite at Sonkacch village in Berasia on Saturday night.
The boy has been identified as Karan Ahirwar, a resident of Sonkacch village under Berasia police station. The child was sleeping in his home when he was bitten by a snake on Friday morning. When the boy screamed, other family members ran to him and they spotted a snake.
The family took the boy to Gurdaspur area of Vidisha where they had some family terms with a doctor. However, he referred the boy to Bhopal and he was brought to Berasia government hospital. The boy died during treatment on Saturday night, said police. Police have registered a case.
