Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A case of minor abduction through an online game ‘Free Fire‘ was reported from Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur on Thursday.

According to information, a 16-year-old girl from Badhai Mohalla, Chhota Fuhara, was allegedly kidnapped by the man she met through the game. The girl had gone missing on July 20.

However, the girl returned home safely and informed the police about the entire incident.

According to police, the accused was identified as Tanveer Alam, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He was accused of luring the minor into a relationship through the game and then forcibly taking her from school to Mumbai.

Accused pretended as victim’s brother

In Mumbai, the minor informed the Railway Police about her situation. Shockingly, the accused tried to get her custody by pretending to be her brother.

After returning home, the girl and her family filed a complaint at the SP Office. Her family has made serious allegations against Tanveer.

They have accused him of using fake social media IDs to trap and exploit innocent girls. They claimed he has a history of trapping girls and even selling them using fake identities.

The family is demanding his immediate arrest, strict action, and a forensic check of his mobile phone. The local police have registered a case and started an investigation.
