Bada Malhera (Madhya Pradesh): The son of a defeated candidate Ratiram Sharma attacked the supporters of the winning candidate Anand Sharma on 3rd July. The incident took place in Dongarpura under sub-division Bada Malhera. Many people got injured in the clash.
The police did not file a complaint initially which led to an outrage among the masses. People blocked the Sagar road highway. Sharp weapons and aerial firing were reported during the clash.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sachin Sharma, ASP Vikram Singh, and DSP Shashank Jain reached the spot with a police force. The force took action and the situation was brought under control.
The injured from both parties have been admitted to the district hospital. Bandha outpost in charge Akansha sharma said that cases have been registered from both sides, she also assured that actions would be taken against those who were involved in road jams.
According to the source Gulganj station in charge also reached the spot when the incident took place, he tried to clear out the jam on the highway, but people did not listen to him. Slogans were raised to remove the police from the highway, and demands to remove the Station charge were also raised.
