At least 22 people were killed and over 60 were injured in a mass shooting incident in Lewiston, Maine on Wednesday night (US local time). Maine Information and Analysis Center, released a note and shared information about the suspect in the deadly mass shooting case. The suspect has been identified as Robert Card.
The note said that the State Police was attempting to locate Robert Card as "a person of interest" regarding the mass shooting incident at Schemeagees Bar and Grille Restaurant and the Sparetime Recreation in Lewiston.
Robert Card is a trained firearms instructor
The Maine Information and Analysis Center informed that Card is a trained firearms instructor believed to be in the Army reserve stationed out of Saco, ME. "According to law enforcement, Card recently reported mental health issues including hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard base in Saco," said the note by Maine Information and Analysis Center.
The information center also informs that Card was also reported to have been committed to a mental health facility for 2 weeks in the summer of 2023.
At the time of publishing this report, Card was last known to be operating a White Subaru Outback with a black bumper with ME plates, and the police was trying to locate him.
