Cincinnati, Ohio: Vivek Ramaswamy who is a Cincinnati native, former co-chair of the Department of Governmental Efficiency (DOGE) and candidate for Governor of Ohio has spoken out after a white woman was violently assaulted in Cincinnati over the weekend.
Ramaswamy said he personally spoke to the victim identified as Holly who is a single working mother and was attacked while attending a friend’s birthday party on Friday night.
“I spoke to Holly earlier today,” Ramaswamy said. “It’s shocking that there were no police officers in that area on a Friday night, and not even an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Hard-working Americans shouldn’t have to worry for their safety while enjoying a night out in our cities.”
Ramaswamy criticised local and state officials, saying that not a single official had reached out to Holly except one police detective. He accused “leftist leaders” of ignoring public safety while criminals turn cities into war zones.
He also said, He will ensure criminals are put behind bars if elected governor. Police will have full support to restore law and order. Local and state leaders must take responsibility for public safety
Holly’s Response
Holly has thanked patriots across the country for their prayers and support and hopes the attention to her case will push local leaders to take action. Ramaswamy said he and his team plan to visit her soon as she continues to recover.
Ramaswamy's Complete Statement
He said, "I spoke to Holly earlier today (the woman tragically assaulted in Cincinnati this weekend). She’s a single working mom who went to a friend’s birthday party. It’s unconscionable that there were no police present in that area of Cincinnati on a Friday night, or even an ambulance to take her to the hospital."
He further stated, "Hard-working Americans shouldn’t have to worry for their safety when they have a good time in our cities. Holly said not a single local or state official had yet reached out as of earlier this afternoon, other than one police detective. Leftists like to lecture about ‘systemic injustice’ while thugs turn our turn cities into war zones. I’m done with their excuses."

He also said, "As governor, I’ll make sure they’re behind bars, not running wild. Our cops will have the green light to restore order—no apologies. Holly appreciates the kind words and prayers from patriots across the country, and hopes that the publicity around her story ensures that local & state leaders clean up our failing cities. We hope to visit Holly soon as she recovers."
