A suspected US military veteran on Monday killed five people on Monday in Pennsylvania. The gunman still at large.
The shootings took place at three separate locations in Montgomery County in the early hours of Monday.
The suspect, who is believed to be a military veteran, is now barricaded in a home in Souderton, according to reports. Police have set up a perimeter around the location and a SWAT team is in place.
Police found two more victims shot dead in Lansdale from gunshot wounds.
Two bodies were also found at what is believed to be a residential property in Souderton.
Police believe that the killings are connected and that the suspect is a military veteran, according to ABC.
Sources also said that the victims were shot at close-range.
Two children, who were reportedly taken in Lower Salford during the shooting, are reportedly safe.
He is still at large although authorities said that his vehicle was found at an undisclosed location.
A fourth scene in Pennsburg was also found. Though police haven’t provided details about that scene said they believe it to be related to the three previous shootings, WPVI reported. Police have not released any details about what they have found at that location, though they have said they believe those murders were connected.
