Washington: Former sports illustrator and model Stacy Williams alleged that US President Donald Trump "brazenly groped" her during a 1993 visit to Trump Tower, while he was in the company of convicted sex offender Jefferey Epstein.
The shocking claim, made in an interview with CNN, has reignited scrutiny over Trump's long-denied ties to Epstein.
Williams Details Encounter With Trump
Williams, who briefly dated Epstein in the early 1990s, recounted that Trump touched her “breasts, buttocks, and hips” without consent during the visit, an act she says occurred in plain view of nearby secretaries who remained unfazed.
“His hands were on my breasts, all over me,” she told CNN, claiming the then-real estate mogul carried on a casual conversation with Epstein while groping her.
According to Williams, Trump and Epstein were “best friends” at the time, a relationship reinforced by anecdotes Epstein allegedly shared during their brief relationship.
“They were up to no good,” she added. Three of her friends have reportedly confirmed that she told them about the incident years ago.
Trump’s Ties to Epstein Under Renewed Spotlight
While Trump has denied Williams’ accusations, CNN reports that his earlier suggestion of having a distant relationship with Epstein is being called into question. Flight logs cited in the First Phase of the Declassified Epstein Files, released by Attorney General Pam Bondi on 27 February, show Trump’s name listed among Epstein’s passengers.
On 11 October 1993, Trump was recorded flying from Palm Beach International Airport to Joacaba, with another similar trip taken just days later.
Though Trump has distanced himself publicly from Epstein in recent years, saying he “was not a fan”, their relationship appears to have stretched back to the 1980s.
