A Texas woman is now contesting her traffic ticket using the reversal of Roe v Wade. Brandy Bottone, who was driving on a lane meant for high occupancy vehicle was issued a ticket by the police to which the woman who's 34 weeks into her pregnancy said that her child is also a person.
Bottone, while speaking about the incident told the Dallas Morning News, that she was on her way to pick her son and could not afford reaching late and thus she exited using HOV however, at the end, she was pulled over by the police.
She recounted further that an officer asked if she was accompanied by anybody else and she pointed to her bump and argued with the officers who issued her a ticket of 215 dollars for inconviniece.
Defending herself, Brandy said that according to the Roe V Wade reversal, the baby is also a person and said her being given the ticket is unfair. The Texas woman is now ready to go the legal way and will appear in court on July 20.
