Taliban Government In Afghanistan Condemns Pahalgam Terror Attack

So far, 28 people have died in the terrorist attack that took place on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. The incident has been condemned not only across the country but also by leaders around the world. Even the Taliban-led government of Afghanistan has reacted to this horrific incident and condemned it.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Abdul Qahar Balkhi said in a statement on X on Wednesday, 'The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the IEA condemns the attack on tourists in the Pahalgam area of Jammu and Kashmir and expresses sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives in this incident. Such acts threaten the security and stability of the region.

The deadly terrorist incident has drawn widespread international condemnation, with US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin among the world leaders expressing solidarity with India. Messages of condolence have come from the Foreign Offices of Pakistan, China, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, and Sri Lanka.

The Muslim World League also issued a statement strongly condemning the attack, describing it as "ghastly" and offering heartfelt condolences for the innocent lives lost in the incident.
