Reportedly, technical analysis of operational data confirms that six fighter aircraft belonging to the Pakistan Air Force were downed during the air battles. One high-value platform — believed to be either an electronic warfare or an Airborne Early Warning or Control Aircraft — was hit by a long-range precision strike using the  S-400 missile system at a distance of around 300 kilometers.

Another airborne early warning Swedish-made aircraft was destroyed in a strike on the Bholari airbase using air-to-surface cruise missiles. Besides, a C-130 transport aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force was also destroyed during an Indian drone strike in the Punjab region of Pakistan.

The tensions escalated after on the night of May 6-7, India, under Operation Sindoor, launched retaliatory strikes on terror infrastructures located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The four-day confrontation ended on May 10 after Pakistan's DGMO called India's DGMO iniating ceasefire talks.
