A 29-year-old Indian engineer from Kerala died during a scuba diving training session at Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach while celebrating Eid al-Adha with his family, as reported by Khaleej Times.

Issac Paul Olakkengil, a UAE-based engineer, suffered a fatal cardiac arrest after experiencing breathing difficulties underwater on Friday, according to relatives.

The incident took place in a designated diving area during a beginners’ session, where Issac reportedly struggled to breathe and became separated from the group. Despite being rushed to hospital after rescue, he could not be revived.

His uncle, David Pyarilos, stated that the family is now working with authorities to complete paperwork for repatriating his remains to India.
