Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that if India dares to attack Pakistan and its existence comes under threat, no one will survive in this world.

Asif's statement comes amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack, after which India announced a slew of measures against its neighbour, including the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and the cancellation of visas for Pakistani citizens.

“If not us, then there will be no one. If our security is threatened, we will fight back with full aggression,” Asif said in an interview with Samaa TV.

Khawaja Asif asserted that his country is prepared for all scenarios. He accused India of involvement in terrorism within Pakistan and claimed that “the banned TTP and BLA are mercenaries and proxies of India.”

"We have enemies on both sides of our borders," he stated.

Moreover, he drew comparisons between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that both leaders are pursuing dangerous political strategies driven by personal pride and electoral motives. He added that while any conflict would likely remain limited to the Line of Control (LoC), once initiated, such hostilities could spiral out of control.

"Should Modi take any reckless step similar to Netanyahu’s actions, Pakistan's retaliation will be so severe that it will be remembered in history," he declared.

The Defence Minister also condemned the suspension of the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, calling it an act of aggression.

"Any Indian structure built to block our water supply will be eliminated. Access to water is a non-negotiable boundary for us. Future wars will be fought over water resources," Asif remarked, noting that river and canal water levels typically rise in late May.
