Amid the controversy surrounding Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia's crass remarks on India's Got Latent, an audience member took to social media to reveal that Allahbadia reportedly apologised to the contestant after asking the vulgar question.
Taking to Instagram, Mumbai-based Mohit Khubani, who attended the show hosted by comedian Samay Raina, said that Allahbadia was proactive in looking after the contestant's comfort level. "Sorry aapko bura toh nahi laga? (Sorry, did it hurt you?)," Allahbadia reportedly said.

Defending the panelists, Khubani said that the contestant won the show and Allahabadia even hugged him post the episode. "I know this is not my regular content, but I wanted people to know what exactly happened in that episode. I don't want my favourite creators getting hate for no reason because half of the people don't even know what happened in that episode," he added in his video.
Khubai further said, "Samay Raina also asked him if he was okay with it, saying 'Are you okay?' He said 'you did good', and again apologised if the joke upset him."
he concluded his video my saying, "Comedy is a switch-off from life. People watch comedy to feel happy and laugh. If you put offensiveness in comedy, there's no point in comedy at all."
What Really Happened?
The controversy erupted when Allahbadia asked a contestant, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to stop it forever?"
The now-deleted episode, sent shockwaves across the internet, resulting in multiple legal notices and FIRs lodged against Allahbadia, Raina and 30-40 other individuals associated with the show.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday, February 18, heard Allahbadia's petition seeking the clubbing of FIRs filed against him. He was also granted interim protection from any further arrest.
Additionally, the Top Court criticised the YouTuber's remarks and described them as "vulgar", asking him to be "ashamed of his actions."
