Ingolstadt [Germany]: Audi is launching the Green Light Optimization Speed Advisory (GLOSA) system that provides speed recommendations to help you avoid red light.
The system combines your car’s position and traffic light data to suggest you an ideal speed on the vehicle’s instrument cluster or heads-up display to help you save time by driving slower and avoid any red lights, Engadget reports the speed suggestion and traffic light information (TLI) is available as part of Audi Connevt.
Prime Feature on 2017and newer models out side of A3 and TT The feature is currently permitted only in certain areas including 13 urban region in US such as Dallas, Denver, Gainesville, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, New York (White Plains), Orlando, Phoenix, Portland, the San Francisco Bay Area (Palo Alto and Walnut Creek) and Washington DC.
