There's a huge list of bizarre international days that humans celebrate for unknown reasons. However, we bring to you a unique day that Indians are commemorating- Vishwa Poha Diwas.

Indians are infatuated with poha since forever. It's our all-time favourite breakfast food. Hence, World Poha Day is celebrated every year in India on June 7. Poha Day is also known as Vishwa Poha Diwas.

National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), Kailash Vijayvargiya, took to Twitter on Monday to extend his greetings on 'Poha Diwas'.

Vijayvargiya wrote on Twitter, "Poha is consumed in breakfast in many parts of the country. In fact, in Maharashtra and Western Madhya Pradesh, poha is everyone's favourite. The taste of digestible, delicious and universally accessible poha is liked by everyone, from children to elders. You too try it today."

People across India are taking to Twitter today to share pictures of poha that they cooked today for breakfast. However, While several Indians are celebrating the day, many are puzzled and many can not resist laughing out loud at the idea that such a day exists.
