WATCH: Woman Loses Control & Crashes Activa Into Shop's Shutter In Rajkot; CCTV Footage Viral

A woman learning to ride an Activa in Rajkot had a frightening experience after she lost control of the two-wheeler while attempting a U-turn near the Govindbagh vegetable market. The unusual accident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera and has since surfaced on social media.

Activa loses control during U-turn

According to the footage, the woman was riding along the road when she attempted to make a U-turn. However, she appeared to lose control of the scooter midway through the turn.

Instead of stopping, the Activa moved towards the roadside at speed and headed directly towards a shop. Moments later, the scooter crashed into the shop's closed shutter with considerable force.

The impact caused the woman to be thrown off the Activa. She fell headfirst near the shutter, making the incident appear particularly alarming in the CCTV footage.

CCTV video of Rajkot accident goes viral

The entire incident was recorded by a CCTV camera installed in the area. After the footage emerged online, it quickly drew attention, with social media users reacting to the unexpected accident.

However, the footage also highlights the risks faced by inexperienced riders when practising on busy public roads.

Fortunately, the woman was rescued safely and no major casualties were reported in the incident.

Safety important while learning to ride

The accident is a reminder that beginners should ideally learn to ride two-wheelers under proper supervision and in open, low-traffic areas. Practising turns, braking and acceleration away from crowded roads can help new riders gain better control of the vehicle.

Wearing a helmet and other appropriate protective gear is equally important, as even a seemingly minor loss of control can result in serious injuries. The Rajkot incident shows how quickly a routine practice ride can turn into an accident when a rider struggles to control a two-wheeler.
