Jalna: The summer vacations are over for students, but the teachers are still not ready for the school reopening, as a teacher was seen napping during an ongoing class in front of the students in Maharashtra's Jalna ZP school. A viral video is buzzing on the Internet in which the teacher is napping in a quite comfortable position, putting his legs over the table.
This shocking incident is from Gadegavan village in Jafrabad tehsil, Jalna district of Maharashtra. The school caters to the Marathi medium board for students from Class I to V. In the viral video, the teacher can be seen napping and snoring; resting his legs on the table in front, with 15-20 students around.

Strict action to be taken:
The person who is recording the video pans the camera towards students and asks a student, how long the teacher had been sleeping. For which the student replies, "Half an hour". Block education officer Satish Shinde has opened up on the incident.
He has stated that the strict action will be taken on this act and he would report on the issue to district education officer of Jalna. "Strict action will be taken against the teacher as per departmental rules," he quoted. For now the teacher has been detained and sent to forced leave.

In another viral video from Saharsa school, Bihar, not one but three teachers were found sleeping in a classroom over students benches.
