Taking note of this case and the dispute erupted between children at the school, the local police intervened and resolved the issue.

The Hardoi police adhered to the case of a kid who complained alleging that his classmate stole his sharpener. This took place when the cops visited a school in the region to attend to anonymous complaints submitted in drop boxes.

The police had earlier installed pink boxes across schools letting students open up and speak about the concerns or issues faced at the institution, if any. It was learned that the police officials would regularly visit the schools on Tuesdays to look into the concerns pointed out in the letters collected at the drop boxes.
