The Supreme Court of India has made the headlines for a peculiar reason this time, instead of drawing the attention of people for its cases and judgements. In a recent incident, a woman was spotted plucking flowers from its lawn. When questioned, she didn't show remorse. The lady defended her actions and argued with people who stopped her from plucking flowers from the SCI lawn.

In the now-viral video, the woman was seen walking in the greenery with a few bags, in which she collected flowers. She had plucked roses from the premises before a few people observed and questioned her.

The woman was caught plucking roses from the court’s well-maintained lawn, and when confronted, she justified her actions with a statement that netizens agreed with. She reportedly told people not to focus on her and create an issue about her plucking the flowers, pointing out there are many cases, much more serious, that require the court's attention.

Prabhakar Kumar Mishra posted the clip on X and quoted the words of the lady: "There are so many serious matters pending in the Supreme Court. People commit murders, break hearts, yet no one speaks up. But when I pluck a few flowers, everyone makes a fuss".

Netizens react
