Jamui (Bihar), June 21: In a shocking incident, a woman married her nephew in front of her husband in Bihar's Jamui. The video of the marriage ins doing rounds on social media and the video shows the man marrying his aunt in front of his uncle and other family members.
The incident occurred in Sikheria village in Jamui district and the woman has been identified as Ayushi Kumari. She married her newphew-in-law at a temple, leaving her daughter and her husband. There are reports that the marriage took place on Friday (June 20) evening.
As per reports, Ayushi was married to Vishal Dubey in the same village in 2021. They also had a three-year-old daughter. However, Ayushi has been in a secret releationship with Sachin Dubey who is a relative from the village. He is considered her nephew by relation. They first came in contact on social media and started talking to each other, which later turned into a romantic relationship. They continued meeting and talking over the phone, however, no one in the family suspected anything.
Their love affair came to light when Ayushi eloped with Sachin reportedly on June 15. Her husband filed a complaint at the Sadar Police Station, reporting that his wife was missing. However, Ayushi soon filed for divorce in the Jamui court and also refused to keep her daughter.
Finally, on Friday evening, Ayushi married Sachin in a village temple with the consent of both families.
Sachin said, “We have been in love for two years. Now our relationship has a name. I will keep Ayushi happy forever.” Vishal said, “If this is what makes her happy, I won’t stop her. But the accusations she made against me are false. In fact, she used to misbehave with my mother and daughter. From now on, she is Sachin’s responsibility.”
