Afghanistan's legendary cricketer Mohammad Nabi and his son Hassan Eisakhil were seen playing against each other in Shpageeza Cricket League. This is probably the first time happening in the cricket history at domestic or International level when a son and father are playing against each other. During the match Nabi was introduced as a bowler against his son, Eisakhil. On the very first ball 18-year-old Eisakhil hit a huge six to his father. The video is now going viral on social media and grabbing widespread attention.
Son Smashes Six To His Father
Eisakhil who is playing for Amo Sharks in Shpageeza Cricket League while the 40-year-old Nabi is playing for Mis Ainak Knights. Both of them came face-to-face today on July 22. In the first half of the match, Mohammad Nabi was introduced as a spin bowling option in the nineth over when Eisakhil was on the strike.
On the very first ball, Eisakhil smashed a massive six over long-on and Nabi stood stunned with the attack. Taking his total to 40 runs in just 24 balls Eisakhil added another 6 runs to his team's total. The six received distinct cheers from the crowd.

Eisakhil is the top order specialist batter. Till now he has played a total of 25 T20 matches and has scored around 600+ runs including four half centuries. Eisakhil has also played for the Afghanistan team in the 2024 U-19 World Cup.
To the huge six in the middle, commentator said, "What manners! He is your dad bowling at you man. First ball and he dispatches it for six, this is cricket. You my father, out of the field, have a lot of respect for you but if you offer me one like that I am gonna dispatch it."
Mohammad Nabi's Dream To Play With His Son
Nabi has put clock on his ODI retirement as he recently opened up on playing alongside his son for Afghanistan.
“These might not be my last ODIs (the Champions Trophy), and I will probably play less ODIs and give chances to the youngsters to build experience. I’ve discussed with the senior players, and in the high-level games, maybe or maybe not, we’ll see. It will depend on my fitness," Nabi said.
“It’s my dream (to play together for the country), and hopefully we can do it. He (Eisakhil) is doing very well. He is a hard worker, and I’m also pushing him to work," he said.
