Would you pay a heavy price to buy something in the name of fashion which you were planning to throw otherwise? In the latest video doing the rounds on the internet, netizens spotted a Basmati rice sack turned into a high-end designer jacket.

The viral clip was shared by TikToker Sachi Rajguroo, who appeared genuinely stunned when she stumbled upon the bizarre find while browsing in a high-end boutique in the US. In the video, she comes across a full-length coat stitched entirely from a Royal Basmati rice sack—the very same kind that Indian households often reuse for doormats or storage bags.

An Instagram page, @sippingthoughts, reposted the video with the caption: “Some are calling it sustainable fashion. Others are just confused...Would you wear it?”

And the internet's response? Uncontrollable laughter. Netizens flooded the comments with laughing emojis, amused by the idea of spending thousands on something that, for many, is just leftover packaging.
