A video of around 16 employees made to leave their seats and stand for 20 minutes at their desks after keeping an elderly man waiting for a long while. The incident was reported from the Noida residential plot department where an IAS officer punished the employees for not immediately attending the elderly man.
On Monday, authority Dr Lokesh M observed his employees keeping an elderly man waiting for a reported time of an hour. Noting this, he punished the employees to stand for the respective time to make them realise of the mistake of not attending to the elderly man on priority basis.

According to reports, nearly 65 CCTV cameras are used to monitor and ensure smooth functioning at the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority's office.
Noida CEO Dr Lokesh M who looked into the footage and saw an elderly man waiting at a counter of the residential department for minutes long took action. He stepped into the office and asked the employee over not attending to the man's concerns. A woman official seated there was asked to address the man.
Lokesh told the media that he saw the CCTV video of the staff not resolving the property issue of the man and keeping him standing for nearly an hour. "I noticed through CCTV that one of our staff members was sitting idle, without bothering to attend to the visitors properly..I visited this section and directed the entire staff to stand for 20 minutes while attending to the visitors", reports quoted him.
Noting that the man was not quickly attended during his visit to the department office, Lokesh ordered a school-like 'stand-up' punishment for all of them. All employees were made to stand as a punishment for not attending the elderly man on priority.
