In the now viral video, Naik Deep Chand, who is a Kargil War veteran, can be seen placed near a window along with other passengers. As the captain of the flight started the announcement, the army personnel could not hide their joy and gratitude. Other passengers travelling on the flight appreciated him for his bravery and sacrifices for the country.

This is Naik Deep Chand, the hero of the Kargil war, the protector of our country. He lost three of his limbs during Operation Parakram, yet his spirits are high and he continues to inspire all of us. Let us all join hands and thank him for everything he has done for us. Jai Hind and Jai Bharat."
