A dramatic fight broke out between two groups over the choice of songs played at a bar in South Delhi. A person named Dhruv who witnessed the brawl, where the youths exchanged punches and kicks, shared visuals from the incident on social media. He mentioned the scene took place on Sunday at the Bougie bar in the upmarket Mehrauli area.
"DJ wasn't playing good songs"
Reporting the incident on X, he shared two videos showing people hitting each other and creating a ruckus at the bar. In the video, a group objected to the songs being played by the DJ, initiating the fight.

"The DJ (prolly) wasn’t playing good songs, so there was this group of 4-5 guys with girls who went to him and asked him to play some other songs", Dhruv posted while stating that the DJ's girlfriend responded to their request instead of the DJ himself. While the exact conversation that took place between the group and the woman is unknown, it allegedly triggered the flight.
DJ gets slapped
The fight escalated after one of the persons attacked the DJ by slapping him at the bar in front of the public for playing "bad" songs. Upset with the music played at the pub, a youth from one of the groups charged at the artist after which he aggressively started throwing beer bottles.
Narrating the chaotic episode, the X user wrote, "One of the guys from the bigger group slapped the dj and the fight started, the dj guy started throwing beer bottles, glasses, plates etc on the group and broke a glass on a guys head".
The X user pointed out that the women at the bar shouted abusive words during the fight. "Girlfriends were the only reason they were fighting over", he added.
The fight concluded when the groups exited the bar after calling the cops. The local police has not released any statement regarding the incident so far.
