A son informed Reddit users that his father signed a handwritten declaration with him regarding his college admission and finances. The Reddit user and his parent agreed on terms to spend the latter's salary in a particular way and the document listed their ifs and buts.
The father signed a piece of paper determining how much percent of his salary he would contribute to the son's welfare.

"My father today gave me in written that if i get into a Prestigious College like IIT, NIT, IIIT, BITSAT then he will give me 40% of his salary per month till his retirement. And if i get into any tier 2.3 college then i have to give him my 100% salary till my retirement", the post read.
In the declaration, the father noted that he would offer a sum of his pay every month and the amount would vary depending about the child's admission at into a prestigious college.
Well, that was the deal between the father-son duo.
In a Reddit post, the son shared an image of the signed paper. "I s/o (the father)...declare that if...take admission in B.Tech best institute/best university then I'll pay 40% of my salary to him per month, else he will give me his 100% salary till his retirement".
The post has gone viral for the relatable and eye-catching promise made between the parent and the son. Netizens didn't react to the post seriously, they wrote, “Save this paper, maybe you both can laugh about this in the future".
