Many social media handlers have claimed that the video is from Bihar's Muzaffarpur, and a teenage boy named Avinash Kumar has made the aircraft. These claims are turning out to be false now, as, after the fact check by FPJ, the video turns out to be from Manikganj, Bangladesh and is going viral on the Internet since March 2025.

A video of 42 seconds is going viral on the Internet, which shows a distant chaos of locals in the grass field as an aircraft made up of scrap runs on the ground to take off for the first trial. Locals can be seen running behind the aircraft and capturing the sight on their phones. Now, the interesting part is that netizens are claiming that this video is of an Indian teenager from Bihar's Muzaffarpur.

With the video, many social media handlers who post viral and trending visuals have claimed that Avinash Kumar from Bihar has made this aircraft with scrap material and without external guidance, which cost him around ₹7,000. Avinash Kumar, who is unknown to his identity, is receiving wide praise on social media for successfully flying the aircraft up to 300 feet.

While there are no news reports of the claims of the netizens, many users commented on the above video, saying it is fake and the original video is actually from Africa. During our research of the truth behind the viral video, we found out that the video has been circulating on social media since March 2025. The video is originally from Manikganj, Bangladesh and the aircraft shown in the clip was made by Julhas Molla, a 28-year-old self-taught electronic mechanic.
