The Chief Executive Officer of London-headquartered fund house, Jupiter Fund Management Plc, Andrew Formica has stunned all by resigning suddenly. He joined $68 billion fund management giant in 2019 and will resign from his position on October 1.
It is further being reported that Formica has quit citing personal reasons and wants to move back to Australia to be with his parents.
He told Bloomberg, "I just want to go sit at the beach and do nothing." Formica had spent three decades in the United Kingdom. He joined Jupiter in March 2019. Earlier, Formica had worked with Janus Henderson Group Pl. The asset manager has more than 27 years of experience in the investment management industry.
“I am proud to have worked with such a fantastic and dedicated team as we navigated an extremely challenging period for the business and markets,” said Formica. I am pleased to see the board appoint Matthew Beesley as my successor, and I look forward to working with him to ensure a seamless transition", he further said in a press statement.
