While you marked Holi at the garden near you or your society compound, SpiceJet celebrated the festival with its passengers. SpiceJet’s cabin crew added a festival vibe to the routine flight boarding procedure. Oh, how? In a now-viral video, the crew members are seen surprising passengers by grooving to the iconic song 'Balam Pichkari', turning the aircraft aisle into a dance floor.

The video opened by showing air hostesses welcoming passengers with a Holi 'tilak', followed by some dance moves to enjoy the occasion. As the flight staffers tuned into music, people onboard pulled out their phone cameras to record the special moment and share it with their dear ones.

The exact flight details remain unknown, but the video was reportedly filmed while the aircraft was on the ground.

While passengers only get to witness the usual flight safety instructions demo during their travel, this Holi trip filled them with the celebratory vibe. They were first greeted with vibrant Holi 'tika' or 'tilak' on their foreheads as they stepped onboard. Soon after, the crew broke into a synchronised, energetic dance performance, much to the delight of the onboard guests.

Flight to Dubai?

“A signature festival, a signature song, and a celebration like no other! 💃 Our crew brought Holi to life with an energetic dance, proving that traditions take flight with us!” SpiceJet captioned the video post on Instagram.

Overlaid text on the video read, "For the first time in 2014, we coloured the sky", followed by, "The feeling is still the same in 2025"—showcasing the airline’s continued efforts to celebrate Indian traditions in the air. The visuals also revealed Danube Properties advertisements on seatbacks, suggesting the flight was bound for Dubai.
