On Tuesday, Faridabad Police nabbed two men for possession of illegal weapons. Their tweet about the crime, however, has made waves on Twitter.
According to a local news portal, a team under deputy inspector Surendra Kumar from the Sikri Police Chowki arrested two me, Bhanu and Deepak alias Golu for possession of a country revolver aka desi katta.
The two accused are friends and they had bought the weapon six months ago in order to build their reputation amongst their friends.
While the crime is serious, after the arrest, the Faridabad Police made a sarcastic yet hilarious tweet that left Twitterati laughing out loud.
Sharing a picture of Deepak aka Golu, the official Twitter handle of Faridabad police wrote on Twitter, "Meet Golu. To feel like a 'Bigg Boss', he first wore a t-shirt that has 'Superman' imprinted on it. Next, he bought a desi katta. Looking at his antics, we have taken him under our watch. We hope that the safe ambience of jail will make him feel great."
The tweet has alerted people warning them to not make such crimes. At the same time, it has made Twitterai laugh out loud with its Bollywood and Hollywood references, and sarcastic tone.
Twitterati are no less. They too responded with hilarious comments.
