A joyous birthday celebration turned horrific in Hanoi, Vietnam when hydrogen balloons at the party venue disastrously exploded and caused burns on a woman's face. A video which recorded the chilling moment initially appeared like a regular video of a birthday party, but things turned unlikely later. A woman standing under the ceiling filled with balloons was just about to blow the candles of the cake when the inflammable balloons burst into fire.
The video opened by showing a Vietnamese woman, identified as Giang Pham, celebrating her birthday with a balloon-filled decor at a local restaurant in the capital city.

Balloons burst into fire
Seconds into the clip, as she appeared to blow off the candles and mark her birthday, the balloons in the surrounding exploded. The incident left her screaming in pain. She covered her face with her hands and tried to reduce the flames affect her face, but it was reported that the accident resulted in facial burns.
Giang was happily holding her birthday cake carrying two lit candles. Her dear ones were filming the moment on camera to cheer her on her special day, but things turned dramatic sooner and she ended up with burns.
Throws cake away, runs to bathroom
The moment the balloons caught fire, she ran away from the centre leaving everything behind. She rushed to help herself by covering her face. She threw the cake instantly and ran towards a corner of the room shouting in pain and fear.
According to local media reports, she ran into the bathroom and comforted herself with some water. She received medical attention immediately, where doctors examined her and mentioned she suffered first and second-degree burns during the incident. It was stated that her scars would heal in a few months and her skin would take time to recover its colour.
