Bengaluru: Journalists and residents were seen participating in a creative protest against the hazardous footpaths and raised concerns over such damaged conditions rising in the city. A video went viral which shows the residents of the Bengaluru enacting the popular scene from Netflix series, squid games. People seen in the clip are running on a severely damaged footpath in the costumes of squid game characters. The video has raised concerns over the city's pedestrian infrastructure.
The video was shot near St John’s Hospital to brought attention to the hazardous conditions faced by pedestrians in one of the city’s busiest walks. As seen in the video, the group was dressed in the iconic characters of the popular Netflix series. They can be seen navigating on the cracked footpath, half opened and broken pithole, exposed cables and dearanged pathway. One of them falls on his while crossing the pithole and was narrowly saved from breaking his legs.

What started as a fun yet important protest has now gone viral on the Internet. The video was posted on X by one of the group members, @baadalvirus. The video has already reached 318K views on the social media platform with hundreds of comments. The video was captioned as, "Its Skid game for Namma Bengaluru Journalists!"
