"USA : Open AI - China: Deepseek - India: Rotichecker AI", the user commented. Meanwhile, another user reacted wished the viral post didn't reach her mother-in-law, which would put her into trouble over the roundness of rotis she prepared at their kitchen. "Dont let me sasu maa see this", she wrote replying to the Rotichecker post.

Viral News: AI Tool To Check How Round Your Roti Is | X/Animesh Chouhan

You would agree that making perfectly circular rotis isn't easy and the same is true for chapatis, dosa, and similar food items. While the taste of roti doesn't depend on its shape, people believe it's an art to prepare a round roti. Can you do it?

We don't wish to make you feel bad if you can't create a round roti. There's an AI tool that will soon let you know how good your roti looks.

AI tool to check roundness of roti

A Bengaluru-based developer who is an IIT Kharagpur graduate revealed he is coming up with a technology which will allow people to figure out and rate their rotis. He gave a sneak peek to X users about his AI tool and said it would let them check the roundness of their food.

Netizens react

Animesh Chouhan stated on X that he would launch an AI-enabled website to access the shape of the rotis if his post received 420 likes. The post was uploaded on January 31 and it has already fetched 6.9K likes, which is much more than the count needed to make the AI page accessible.

"Rotichecker.ai" is not yet available. When you try opening the page, it says it is "Coming soon" and leaves you with a meme.

Meanwhile, netizens were amused to know someone actually invested time and effort in developing an app which would check the roundness of the roti and indicate it with a score.

They found it rather funny than creative for the IITian to have worked on this app idea.

One of the users took a hilarious dig at Animesh's post by reflecting on what India was busy developing while the US had given the world Open AI and China presented Deepseek.
