The famous haunted Annabelle doll, known from horror movies and ghost stories, has allegedly gone missing, following which the internet is extremely worried and on panic mode now. The doll vanished after a fire in the region and it was missing during a paranormal tour stop in Louisiana.

It all started when people attending a paranormal tour in Louisiana claimed the doll wasn’t there. Locals said they didn’t see Annabelle during the event, and soon, rumours began spreading that the chilling doll was lost.

To make things even stranger, this came just days after a fire broke out at the old Nottoway Plantation (now called Nottoway Resort) in White Castle, Louisiana. Thankfully, no one was hurt — but some were quick to connect the fire with Annabelle's visit to the area, suggesting it could be the evil doll's mischief.

The Annabelle doll is a Raggedy Ann doll kept at the Warrens Occult Museum in Connecticut, and popularised for its horror appeal in cinema.

As the doll was said to be out of the museum, believed to being travelling in Louisiana or around the world, people reacted in fear.

Netizens react in fear

One user posted on X, "The infamous haunted doll Annabelle — yes, the one locked in the Warren Occult Museum — has reportedly gone missing. No confirmation if it was stolen or just vanished... But it’s GONE."

Another wrote, “I just saw a post on Facebook that they LOST THE ANNABELLE DOLL? I’m fleeing the country goodbye.”

Some, however, took it a bit more lightly. One person joked, "My babygirl #Annabelle is on a world tour YESSSSS."

Wait, now comes the truth. Quashing the social media rumours, officials confirmed that the doll was back at the museum. They also clarified there is no connection between the recent fires and Annabelle.

Dan Rivera of NESPR reportedly visited the place to check whether the doll was there. He claimed that the Annabelle was still there while debunking the viral rumour that created panic.
