A UP man who visited a police station in Jhansi allegedly to seek justice got repeatedly slapped by the Station House Officer (SHO) identified as Sudhakar Kashyap. A disturbing video showed the cop beating up the man vigorously. It recorded the moment when Kashyap fired 31 slaps at the man in 41 seconds.
The footage, believed to have been filmed by the man himself, showed the cop angrily charging violence at the man without even listening the reason behind his visit to the police station.

The video opened by showing the uniformed policeman entering the police station and assaulting this man, who was at the premises to seek justice.
The problem that brought the man to the police station was not reported, but it was learned that his visit left him beaten up.
Kashyap was caught on camera continuously slapping the man. The man was shocked on being slapped by the SHO without a valid reason. "Aap hume maar kaahe rahe hai? (Why are you beating me)", the man kept asking in the now-viral video.
SHO suspended
After the video of the incident circulated on social media, action was taken against the Jhansi cop. He was reportedly suspended for slapping the man who came to the police station seeking justice.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) released a video on X addressing the matter. He informed that the cop was posted at the Mauranipur police station in Jhansi were the incident took place. Following the matter, he noted that Kashyap has been suspended and departmental action is underway.
